About the WAMS 2025 Workshop /
WAMS 2025 marks the fourth edition of the Workshop on Advanced Mass Spectrometry, held at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (IQ-USP) and organized by the MCPL Laboratory. The main goal of this workshop is to bring together leading researchers to discuss advanced, modern, and relevant techniques in mass spectrometry that are not yet widely disseminated within the Brazilian scientific community.
The 2025 edition will explore alternative ion fragmentation methods, mechanisms of ion fragmentation, simulation and interpretation of fragmentation spectra, and metabolomics applications of these fragmentation techniques. Additionally, the workshop will feature discussions on QCxMS, GNPS and MZmine, emphasizing their roles in bridging theoretical modeling, data analysis, and experimental mass spectrometry.
The workshop is FREE and will take place at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo.
